7/29/15 Santa Maria Inn, a cool historic inn that's supposed to be haunted! We didn't encounter any ghosts during our stay there (shucks!)

7/29/15 Shaw's Steakhouse is within walking distance of the Santa Maria Inn and we had dinner there during our stay in the summer of 2015. POSTSCRIPT: Sadly, a fire nearly gutted the place on January 3rd of 2019 https://www.keyt.com/news/santa-maria-north-county/community-help-for-unemployed-shaw-s-steakhouse-workers/970097133. I really hope they will be able to rebuild!

7/29/15 Gil had the 10-oz. ribeye.
I had Shaw's Tri-Tip Special with Santa Maria-style pinto beans, grilled Linguica sausage, sautéed mushrooms, rice and grilled garlic bread. Everything came with a fresh relish tray and we shared a bottle of Rancho Sisquoc Pinot Noir (our new favorite winery in the Santa Maria Valley).
